Unrestrained
Friendship unrestrained
Unhindered by insecurities
Hangs against the backdrop of the night sky
An infinite emptiness only a human soul can know
It shines brightly
A true north for the lost to find their
bearings, and the desperate to find hope
It guides us through the darkness that often
seems eternal
And though, at times, clouds may obscure the
obvious from view
Our faith holds fast and steady in those who
have always been there
When at last dawn emerges
We find them waiting unwaveringly
And thank them for the memories we've made
Those to come
And the greatest gift of all...
Their friendship unrestrained
